French Montana’s performance at the MTV EMAs was interrupted by two YouTube pranksters on Sunday night.
The rapper was caught off-guard when two self-proclaimed trolls from the YouTube channel Trollstation joined him on the stage.
Despite the interruption, French handled it like a pro and seemed unaffected by the random addition to his backing dancers.
The jokesters were holding a purple banner while dancing to French’s new song: the aptly named Unforgettable.
Security quickly escorted the men off the Europe Music Awards stage at Wembley Arena, but not before they enjoyed their 15 seconds of fame.
MTV cameramen tried their best to avoid catching the YouTubers but unfortunately they were in prime position next to French who handled it all in his stride.
They uploaded a video of the prank to their channel Trollstation.
It’s not all fun and games though, as the video includes a link to crowdfunding site @mybusks, with the promise that if people want to donate to them the proceeds will go to Children In Need.
Rita Ora hosted the event in London and was clearly proud to be representing her hometown.
The gatecrashers weren’t the only surprise of the evening Eminem was truly shocked to win Best Hip Hop.
The rapper said: ‘I don’t really know how I got this.’ Adding: ‘I haven’t had an album out in a few years.’
Eminem opened the show with his new song Walk On Water but hasn’t had an album out since 2013.
